Description

Meet the 2027 Polaris 850 TITAN® Nordic Pro in ****—a big-hearted, backcountry-ready touring widetrack that looks as bold as it feels the moment you thumb the throttle. This machine has that “let’s go farther” attitude baked in, pairing confident trail manners with the kind of footprint that’s happiest when the snow gets deep, the gear gets heavy, and the day’s plan turns into an all-day adventure.

At the center of the fun is the liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder **Patriot™** 2-stroke—an 840cc horizontal in-line built for crisp response and steady pull. It’s fuel-injected (gas/oil injected), happy on regular fuel, and ready to fire up your ride with **electric start** (with a pull-start backup for peace of mind). Power feeds through a **CVT** setup with belt drive, and when the trail turns tight or the parking spot gets awkward, **reverse** is there to make things easy. The thumb throttle keeps the control simple and familiar—because the best rides are the ones that feel natural from the first mile.

Sized like a true Titan, it brings a planted stance and serious presence: 133 inches long, 46.5 inches wide, and 56 inches tall, with an adjustable ski stance between 39 and 41 inches to dial in the feel. Despite its wide-track confidence, the AXYS® aluminum frame helps keep things purposeful, while the skid-resistant floorboards and rubber hand grips keep you comfortable and in command when the ride goes from smooth to “let’s see what’s over that ridge.”

Up front, the High Clearence IFS independent A-arm suspension delivers 9 inches of travel, backed by **Fox® QS3** adjustable hydraulic shocks with coil-over design—so you can tune the ride to match your pace and conditions. Out back, the **BackTrak20** rear suspension adds 16.5 inches of travel with two rear shocks (Polaris IFP adjustable hydraulics) and a center **Fox® QS3** adjustable hydraulic shock with a remote reservoir. Translation: it’s built to keep the ride composed when the terrain gets choppy and the miles start stacking up.

And speaking of stacking up miles—this Nordic Pro is made to track straight and float with confidence. A 155-inch **Cobra Track** with a full 20-inch width and 1.8-inch lugs gives you that wide-track bite and steady forward drive that touring riders and work-minded explorers love. TrailBreaker skis with carbide skags help keep steering predictable, while manual handlebar steering keeps the connection direct and honest.

Comfort and capability are part of the personality here. You’ve got a high LED headlight to stretch your visibility when the light fades, plus heated driver grips (adjustable) to keep the cold from calling the shots. The one-piece vinyl seat is built for long stretches, and the Titan hydraulic brake with a hydraulic rear disc gives you confident stopping power when the trail drops away or the load behind you asks for a little extra control.

Tech-wise, it’s ready for modern riding. **RIDE COMMAND™ GPS** helps you keep your bearings, while Bluetooth® audio and mobile app instrumentation bring your ride info and soundtrack together. Clear warning cues—like a temperature warning light and a fuel gauge—help you stay ahead of the moment instead of reacting to it.

Finally, this Titan doesn’t just explore—it's prepared to bring something back. With a **receiver-style rear hitch**, it’s set up for the practical side of winter fun, whether that’s hauling gear, helping at the cabin, or simply justifying one more reason to head out again tomorrow.

Bold in ****, built wide, and tuned for touring with real off-trail confidence—the 2027 850 TITAN® Nordic Pro doesn’t ask where you’re going. It asks how far.
